The rally starts at the north most point in Romania, near Sighetu Marmatiei.
STAGE 1 & 2
First two stages are located in the forrests of Maramures and Bistrita Counties. Fast winding roads with little to no room for error.
CHECKPOINT 1 IN CLUJ-NAPOCA
After 6 hours of driving we are stopping in Cluj-Napoca at the first Checkpoint. Here you have 3-4 hours to relax, eat and get ready for the last leg of the day.
DRIVE TO CHECKPOINT 2 - SIBIU - END THE DAY
Last part of Day 1, driving to Sibiu where we will be staying overnight.
DAY 2

LEAVING SIBIU
At 08:00 we leave Sibiu and head over to Balea Lake.
STAGE 3 - GREEN SIDE OF TRANSFAGARASAN
Stage 3 brings probably the most spectacular road and landscape in the rally. Stage start at the bottom of the mountain and ends at Balea Lake.
Here we stop for a coffee break and continue on the other side of the mountain.
CHECKPOINT 3 - CITY CENTER OF SIBIU
Back again, only this time we are passing under the famous bridge in Piata Mica to make a quick pit stop and grab lunch.
STAGE 4 - TRANSALPINA
Again, an uphill battle to reach Ranca, driving on the famous Transalpina, the highest road in Romania, with Urdele Pass at 2145 m. Some say the landscapes here surpass that of Transfagarasan.
CHECKPOINT 4 - RANCA
Driving to our accomodations on top of the Parang Mountains, staying just a few hundred meters away from where we ended Stage 4, at over 2000 m altitude.
DAY 3

FINISHING THE DRIVE
We drive away from the mountain to get to our destination.
STAGE 5 - HAIRPIN LAND
We drive from Urdele Pass to Novaci, on a road with more hairpins than you tought were possible.
STAGE 6 - WINDY ROADS
After leaving Rm. Valcea, Stage 6 consists of the last bit of road before we get on the highway.
CHECKPOINT 5 - BUCHAREST
Once we leave the green behind, we have clear skyes and a long highway to get to our next checkpoint in Bucharest.
CHECKPOINT 6 - THE PORT OF CONSTANTA
This is the last and final checkpoint of the rally. We end it on the shore of the Black Sea, with a big party in the Tomis Port.
